Williamsburg Residence

Addition and Extensive Renovation, Silver Spring, Maryland.

Based on the clients' need, a 2,300-square feet addition was built on an original 1,300- square feet colonial style builder's home built in 1945. The new addition includes a Great Room on the First Floor with open concept Kitchen, big island, Family Room and a covered porch, which provides the family entertaining and gathering spaces.

On the Second Floor, the new addition includes a Master Suite including Bedroom, large Bathroom and Dressing Room, as well as two additional children bedrooms, and a bathroom, which completes this house as a 3600 square-foot 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home.

    South Salem Manor

A French style county house of 6,500 square feet on a 6.5 acre bucolic site.

This home is uniquely fit into its site, which capitalizes it on a long and narrow buildable area between the front lawn and two acre flood plane. A gracious gallery extends the entire length of the house connecting the main floor living lifestyle, with master bedroom suite and study on the east; formal living spaces in the center;  kitchen and great room at the west end; and staff quarters between the kitchen and 3 car garage. A library and two children's bedrooms with en-suite baths are on the second floor.

      Tea House

This tea house was designed for a professor according to the philosophy of the traditional  Japanese modular plan teahouse and the ideology of Zen.
